Housing deal in Israel fell through….

They decided to rent it to some other couple without kids and without cats.  😟  So we’re moving on to plan B – find another one.

Meanwhile, back in Phoenix, our plans to rent our current home seem to be solid.  The family we are renting to walked through the house with us this weekend and decided which stuff of ours they want to keep and which they don’t need (i.e. want us to get rid of).  It will work well for both of us since they don’t have furniture to furnish a house of our size and because it will allow us to hopefully not have to rent a separate storage unit.  We will use one basement bedroom for storage, so I took the first steps and took the bed apart, leaning the mattress and box spring up against the wall.  Looks like we’ll have several other mattress sets to store there, so hopefully there’ll be enough space left in the room for the rest of our stuff.  Camping gear, ski gear, regular dishes, Passover dishes, assorted nightstands and end tables, master bedroom bed frame/nightstands, yard furniture, linens, beach towels, and probably some clothing that won’t fit in our allotment of 18 bags – just off the top of my head….  Yikes.
