Second family trip to Israel
Ok, its summer 2017, time for our second, now annual, family trip to Israel. So if last year we put ourselves on a five year plan, that means that after this trip, we’re down to four years. Four years left.
We actually rented a different unit in the same AirBnB apartment building that we did last year when we were here for Passover. But this time, we were alone, just our family. No parents, no brother. Just us. Again, we rented our own minivan, bought and cooked our own food. Although we certainly were not truly living like locals, we were not staying in nice hotels on a ritzy tour with everything provided for us. And again we talked about whether we could actually do it.
and of course, we saw Wonder Woman when it first came out. In Israel. With Hebrew subtitles. And when Gal Gadot made her first appearance on the big screen, the entire audience erupted in applause.
