Guess that fruit

I guess every country would have different native fruits and so it should be no surprise that there are fruits I’ve never heard of or seen in the supermarkets here.  Here are a few examples:

some kind of a pear shaped lime thing?

not the same thing.  the label says “red pomelo.”  what’s a pomelo?

I think this is afarsimon in hebrew, or persimmon .  i think i’ve heard of them but for sure i’ve never seen one.  not sure what you do with them.

no clue.  there was no label.  some kind of seasonal cactus fruit, maybe?
you might recognise these, although these ones are super huge and not the best quality from what i’ve seen. its still weird seeing so many of them so commonly piled up in supermarkets like this.  pomegranates!

oh sorry, the sufganiyot must have snuck in there somehow –  they seem to be everywhere these days!
