Office Reveal
We met last night with all the doctors in the office to reveal my plans. They were surprised but everyone understood and agreed that it will be a positive experience for me. It undoubtedly will be difficult for the practice. Which is not my intent and about which I feel bad. But, as they say, it is what it is. We discussed how the office will cover for me in my absence, how patient scheduling and the on-call schedule will be affected. Many kind words were said, and it even got a little emotional. This is the first and only practice I’ve ever worked at and it has nurtured me from a fresh graduate into the fine cardiologist that I am today (if i do say so myself 😊)
So if I’m not mistaken, this was the last bastion of secrecy. Finally, now everyone knows.
