Israeli Medical Association
Heard back from the Israeli Medical Association – It seems they’re willing to accept me as a cardiologist, with a three month observation period, as expected. There’s something about “part A” and “part B” which I haven’t figured out yet, but overall good news I think! Still waiting to hear from the Health Ministry about my license… Anyway, I forwarded the letter to the hospital where I’m hoping to work and am waiting to hear back.
Also, the Jewish Agency formally submitted our Aliyah application to the Israeli government.
Once we hear that we’ve been accepted then I think we can book an actual flight – now that’s progress! I think we might also get some kind of Israeli immigrant identification number, which I’m hoping will make it easier for us to register the kids for school.
Stay tuned, more to come….
